跨文化交际口语训练营

教师简介(中英文):

教师团队由来自英、美等国家ESL教师联合组成。团队教师主要从事语音学、音韵学、科技英语、应用语言学和社会语言学等领域的教学工作,具有长期、丰富的英语教学经验,授课内容涵盖剑桥英语、英语口语、书面交流、科技英语、学术写作、社会语言学、公开演讲和辩论、商业信息学英语等。

The teaching team is composed of ESL teachers from English-speaking countries like the UK and the US. These educators primarily specialize in the fields of phonetics, phonology, English of Science & Technology, applied linguistics, and sociolinguistics, boasting extensive experience in English teaching. They teach such subjects as Cambridge English, Oral English, Written Communication, English of Science & Technology, Academic Writing, Sociolinguistics, Public Speech & Debating, and English for Business Informatics.

课程简介(中英文):

本训练营课程秉承“学以致用” “知行合一”的学习理念,内容覆盖跨文化交际知识和口语交流技巧,针对学生已有知识,从跨文化交际、英语场景对话等各个环节对学生进行指导。通过本课程学习,学生能够用英语就某一主题进行对话或讨论,在对话和讨论过程中能较好地掌握会话策略,能够比较清晰地表达个人意见、情感、观点等,语音、语调基本正确。学生能够丰富英语语言知识、提升语言应用技能;能够预判和避免由于不同文化期望而产生的误解;能够在跨文化交际时进行文化适应和文化包容。学生能够提升综合分析和解决问题的能力;不断增强跨文化意识和跨文化交际能力。共分6个模块,分别由6名资深外教授课,每一个模块教学都应注重知识与技能、理论学习与实践环节相结合;在教学资源选择和教学任务设计方面遵循典型性、相关性和时效性等原则。在帮助学生在提高语言表达能力的同时,提升综合分析和解决问题的能力,培养学生的跨文化意识和能力。

This training camp course adheres to the philosophy of “learning through application” and “combining knowledge and action”. It focuses on intercultural communication and oral communication skills, providing guidance for students in these areas based on their prior knowledge. After studying this course, students will be able to converse or discuss in English. During the conversation and discussion, they can grasp conversation strategies, and express personal opinions and emotions, with correct pronunciation and intonation. This course can broaden students’ English language scope and enhance their language skills. Students will be able to anticipate and avoid misunderstandings caused by different cultural expectations, showing adaptation and tolerance in cross-cultural communication.

The course is divided into 6 modules, each being taught by a professional teacher. These modules strive for the integration of knowledge and skills, and the combination of theory and practice. The teaching resources and the design of teaching are both supposed to be typical, relevant, and updated. While helping students improve their language expression skills, the course also aims to enhance their ability to analyze and solve problems effectively and cultivate their intercultural awareness and capabilities.
