George Tsekouras Responsible for designing and delivering the Master Programme of “Innovation and entrepreneurship”, teaching “Innovation Management”, “Delivery of Innovation Products”, “Entrepreneurship”, supervised 7 PhD students. He has extended experiences across UK, EU and Brazil in teaching UG, PG, and professionals. His teaching has been well noted particularly among entrepreneurs, linking theory and practice.

This is a course that aims to discuss the strategic and operational challenges involved in starting-up a new enterprise based on innovation and/or a new technology. The course will focus on the biggest challenge of an innovative start-up, namely the roadmap to scaling-up, expansion and diversification. The course will discuss the different stages involved in the roadmap to scale-up and diversification and the key questions that need to be addressed in each stage in order to lead to a sustainable business model. The discussion will expand into the range of partnerships required and the identification of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to enable a successful transition from start-up to scale-up. A range of relevant tools and supporting case studies will be used as supporting material.
