教师简介(中英文):Dr. Mohammad Talha长期从事结构力学、复合材料、功能梯度结构不确定系统分析、多孔结构和非局部弹性理论等相关领域的教学和研究。他在国际期刊和会议上发表了超过117篇论文,是多个期刊的编委、副编委及审稿人,具有丰富的教学实践经验,自2013年12月起在印度曼迪理工学院任教。
Dr. Mohammad Talha has long been engaged in teaching and research in related fields such as structural mechanics, composites, functionally graded structures, uncertain system analysis, porous structures, and nonlocal elastic theory. He has published more than 117 papers in international journals and conferences and is an editorial board member, associate editor, or reviewer for several journals. With rich experience in teaching practice, he has taught at the Indian Institute of Technology Mandi, India, since Dec 2013.

The finite element analysis is a numerical method for solving problems of engineering and mathematical physics. The course will introduce some basic concept related to the finite element method and how to use it to deal with simple structural analysis. After completion of this course student are able to create finite element models, understand the fundamental theory of the finite element method, and use commercial software for simple finite element analysis.
