教师简介(中英文):Wenye Wang received her Ph.D. degree from Electrical and Computer Engineering, Georgia Institute of Technology in 2002, and she is currently a Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, North Carolina State University. She has served as the IEEE INFOCOM 2017 Technical Program Committee Co-Chairs, and a past associate editor of IEEE/ACM Transactions of Networking, IEEE Transactions on Mobile Computing, IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications, and Elsevier Journal of Computer Networks. She also serves as the Representative of IEEE Communication Society to the Women in Engineering Group in IEEE society from 2017-2020, Her research interests lie in the broad area of wireless networking, focusing on modeling and performance evaluation of user mobility, network topology, spectrum surveillance, and their applications to IoT areas, including smart grid and e-learning. Dr. Wang received NSF CAREER Award in 2006. She is an ACM member and an IEEE Fellow of 2017.

王文野教授于2002年获得佐治亚理工博士,担任IEEE INFOCOM 2017技术主席,担任IEEE/ACM Transactions of Networking, IEEE Transactions on Mobile Computing, IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications, and Elsevier Journal of Computer Networks副主编,她的研究兴趣主要在于无线网络,网络拓扑,物联网,远程教育. 王教授获得了NSF CAREER Award及IEEE Fellow.

课程简介(中英文):

让学生了解IoT系统的基本知识,IoT系统中的数据分析方法,相关的人工智能算法设计等. 锻炼学生的动手能力,做到理论与实践的结合;激发学生的创新精神。

The course covers the most popular performance modeling and machine-learning techniques that are used in the Internet of Things (IoT). At the end of the course, students will be able to a) develop simulation models of an IoT system, b) apply statistical and machine-learning techniques to analyze data from IoT sensors, and c) gain experience with one more of the packages: MatLab, R, Scikit-learn (machine learning in Python)
